Not every couple is the same, so why should their photo session locations be? We love working with every couple to pick out a location (or two) that really highlights a piece of their story together. From outdoorsy and adventurous to boho, urban, and everything in between, we love brainstorming locations that reflect each couple’s individuality and personality. Need some inspiration for your locations? We’re breaking down some of our favorite spots in and around the Atlanta area - complete with some of our favorite images from those spots. So keep reading for our top Atlanta shoot locations, and why!

Your Home. Why? Because that’s where you’ll be the most comfortable and the most yourself. Whether you’re making pancakes in your PJ’s together or just cuddling on the couch, a lifestyle engagement session in a place you’re already comfortable might just be the perfect fit. It’s also a great way to capture your first place together, or a new home. We’ve created some gorgeous photos on family land, the front porch, and cooking in the kitchen. Get creative, and tap into the unique resources you have available!

2. Ponce City Market. Go on a slower weekday, and spend time out and around the Beltline. There are so many great options for photos within walking distance, and great food nearby once your session is done. The Beltline itself is another fun option. Grab bikes, make a day of it, and capture some fun moments exploring the city.

3. Candler Mansion Greenhouse. It’s a little sketchy, and we’re not even sure you’re technically supposed to go back there. But that doesn’t make it any less epic of a location, which is why we had to include it on our list. If you’re going in the summertime, bring bug spray. That’s assuming you can still get in there!

4. Piedmont Park. Especially in the Fall! There are so many gorgeous spots all over the park, and no shortage of epic views of the city skyline. It’s the perfect blend of urban and outdoorsy, which is why we love this spot. You can dress it up, you can dress it down, you can bring your dog, the possibilities are endless.

5. Berry Patch Farms. If you’re looking for woodsy Narnia vibes on a good Christmas Tree farm, this is the place. We usually call ahead for hours and availability, and there may be a small photography fee, but it’s worth it. This is our favorite spot for cozy, wintry photos when we’re trying to add a pop of color against all the gray. Delicious cider, amazing wreaths in their store, and just an overall gorgeous place.
